||0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.| Pretty good OTR history.|By Bill Muhr|Excellent book about the early days of OTR. The genre chapters were especially good and included separate characterizations by type which were fascinating. The last several chapters dealing with politics were off-putting,however,because of the authors bias.
A history of radio and its most famous shows and performers provides insights into twentieth-century popular culture and illuminates the important role of broadcasting in American life.
